A lively discussion about the many adventurous travels several of our members enjoyed covered the majority of our meeting. It was exciting just to share the excitement of our friends being in other countries experiencing their beautiful landscapes and cultural treasures, delicious foods and local people.
We did discuss our book, Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid, deciding it was an excellent read. One aspect everyone found enjoyable was the happy timing of reading a story centered on an astronaut so soon after the successful Artemis mission.
Our next book for June is Kin by Tayari Jones.
