We had a perfectly lovely meeting. First, everyone was in attendance, a difficult goal to achieve and a joy when it happens. Second, our meeting started with an extraordinary event: a gigantic giveaway by our most incredibly generous Trey. She gifted everyone with kitchen towels and pillows from the states of their choice. These are exquisite embroidered pieces featuring geographical highlights of each locale. It was simply a glorious happening! Thank you, Trey!
After everyone had admired and collected their goodies, we settled down to share our month, travel plans, grandchildren happenings and talk about our book, The Most Fun We Ever Had. Chris noted how the book had demonstrated the importance of birth order, something I had overlooked until it was pointed out. In addition we managed to consume our monthly quota of scones!
