In what, because of the pandemic is now an unusual location, we happily gathered in December in Barbara's lovely home already bedecked with cheerful Christmas decor. It was fabulous for all of us to be once again in the embrace of a loving home and it made our gathering that much more memorable,
We enjoyed a delicious potluck brunch, discussed our assigned book, Grandma Gatewood's Walk, and decided to add Mother Land by Leah Franqui for next month. And, of course, we caught up on each other's lives. Support, friendship and love are the reasons our book club is so much more than a gathering to discuss our reading.
